Assistant Landscape Designer
April 2020 - Present
Designer for high-end landscape design / build firm. Communicated in proposal meetings and throughout the design process with high-end clientele. Responsibilities included creating estimates for projects, dispatching landscape crews, and marketing. Created updated website, brochures, social media and other graphic design branding for the company. Organized and coordinated office administration and procedures to ensure efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Interior Designer
October 2019 - April 2020
Interior Designer for Modsy, an online startup company that creates digital designs for customers across the country. Worked independently and with other stylists on designing difficult spaces for clients. Clients send in spaces that they need designed and stylists provide a 3D design to show customers what their space could look like with different layouts, furniture, and styling. Worked completely remotely with online meetings and daily communication.
Art Lead Instructor

Art Instructor for children ages 6-14 for a day camp affiliated with the University of Minnesota. Independently designed, scheduled and taught art projects tailored to each age group and encouraged creativity and unique ideas. Projects changed each week and were intended to engage a wide range of children and spark imagination in all students.
Chapter President

Honorary Service Fraternity built on the values of musicianship, leadership and service to provide encouragement and support to college band programs. Planned and led both chapter meetings and Executive Board meetings. Worked with Vice President, Executive Board, and chapter members concurrently to keep chapter service projects on track. Administered communication between chapter and National Headquarters.

Section Leader for the clarinet section in the University of Minnesota Marching Band. Responsibilities include leading sectional practices, teaching marching rehearsals and making decisions for performance placements.

Group leader for children ages 6-14 on camps including: Aeronautics & Drones, Wildlife, Voyageur Camp Craft, and Lego Boat Engineering. Worked with children to design airplanes, improve their knowledge of the environment around them, and to build and test motor designs for Lego boats.

Taught children from infant age to first grade basic swimming strokes and safety in the water. Worked with co-workers to plan lessons and create more effective teaching strategies.
